BIO-SURVEY scan, by Zyto software, is a non-invasive biofeedback tool, generating bioelectrical health biomarkers used to provide “Decision Support” or “Accurate Decisions” faster, for health and wellness choices. It is utilized by functional medicine practitioners to identify biological preferences for supplements, foods, and lifestyle changes. There are no blood draws, or painful needle sticks involved. You just sit comfortably in a chair while the provider chats with you. The scan, on average, takes about an hour.

The technology is based on Galvanic Skin Response (GSR), the same principle used in lie detector test, EKG, or EEG to measure the electrical conductivity of the skin. You place your hand on a specialized hand cradle while the software sends non-painful digital signals, called “Virtual Items”, to the body. Each Virtual Item represents a physical item such as an organ, hormone, vitamin, food, chemical, endocrine disruptor, pathogen or toxin. The device measures how your body’s skin resistance changes in response to these digital signatures compared to a baseline. Reports are generated instantly and can include insights into nutritional needs, ranking specific vitamins, minerals, supplements, nutrients, and essential oils that align with your body’s current state. It identifies areas of the body, such as the immune or gastrointestinal systems, that may be experiencing stress.
